Minister Launches Taranaki Project to Create 500 Jobs for Maori
On 27 August 2010, Minister Tariana Turia will visit Taranaki to launch Whakatipuranga Rima Rau: Towards 500 – Maori health and disability workforce project. Taranaki Whanau Ora Hui Powerpoint
The presentation was made by Pahia Turia who facilitated a Whanau Ora concept hui called by Te Whare Punanga Korero and held at Owae Marae, Waitara on 1 June. Taranaki was the only/first place in the country that had taken the initiative to bring Maori together from iwi, providers, funders and whanau to discuss what Whanau Ora might look like in Taranaki.
