Request For Proposals - Delivery of Maori Health Services in Taranaki
The Taranaki DHB issued a Request for Proposals [RFP] on 21 April 2011 seeking suitably qualified providers to deliver the full range of Māori Health services under a single contract that enables the delivery of long term Whānau Ora outcomes. All information relating to the RFP, including notices to proposers, remains as links on TDHB's website until the RFP has been concluded.
The primary aim is to create an environment more enabling of provider innovation to deliver improved health outcomes for whanau and reduced health inequalities between Taranaki Māori and non-Māori.
The RFP closed on 8th July and Taranaki DHB is currently undergoing an evaluation of proposals received, with a preferred applicant expected to be announced in the week commencing 22 August 2011. The outcome of the RFP will be published on GETS and Taranaki DHB websites.
